Firstly, we would like to extend our best wishes to you all.
At the start of 2009, when firms are continually discussing and implementing their downsizing plans, we, as the Conmar family, are sailing towards the Turkish Logistics Sector and Foreign Trade World and pride ourselves in introducing a new firm to our country in this era.
We have all been witnessing the spread of globalization to all parts of the world. Perhaps it is this period we live in when changes have occurred the most and globalization has been felt at the highest level.
We all know that the pervasive influence of the media makes people feel the need to consume more, compels them not to be content with just the local products, hence the international trade grows with each passing day and will continue to grow even more. Not only do we know this, but we also embrace it and experience it personally. One of the most important functions of foreign trade, which bears a great deal of significance for all countries, is that the goods in hand be delivered to the buyer in an efficient and timely manner. Managing this process the right way is also as important as product quality. Like all the other companies in this crucial link of the Supply Chain management, we will be serving the Turkish Foreign Trade and will try to carry this responsibility the best way we can. Besides, by informing customers, who visit our website and ask for a bulletin, of changes in the logistics and foreign trade world, perhaps we will soon become one of the reference points in the sector.
Beside all the things we pledge to do, there are certainly others we will refrain from doing; we will never put our own interests ahead of our customers’ whom we see as our strategic partners. We will neither compromise on quality, even if it means a financial loss for us, nor on the importance we place on people who are involved with us. And we shall never deviate from our missions, aims, goals, and belief of becoming a good brand, and will always strive to set an example.
Actions speak louder than words. We, the founders of Conmar, each of us with over twenty years of work experience, are in fact not newcomers to the sector, thus it feels a bit odd to be “welcomed”, nevertheless as Conmar, we are new entrants to the sector, and therefore we appreciate being “welcomed” by you. And we “welcome” everyone who has joined or will join our family; our employees, strategic partners, suppliers, in short everyone who will or will not put their shoulder to the wheel with us and extend them our deepest respect.
